The aim of this small, friendly, group is to learn to take better photographs without recourse to digital manipulation using only the options provided by the camera and the skills we are hoping to acquire.
The group meets for two hours each month, usually at 1.30pm on the first Thursday each month. We discuss a different theme each time; the list of possibilities is endless; photographing landscapes, portraits, techniques, buildings, animals, events and so on. Occasionally, instead of the meeting, we have a day out perhaps to Tatton Park, Salford Quays, or a wildfowl park, for some practical experience.
At present all members of the group use a digital camera and the standard varies considerably so don’t be deterred by the thought that your camera might not be up to it. That is just not possible.
